MRI

I just talked to my mom and here is the latest. Kent went in for an MRI this afternoon. They will scan from the top of his head through his neck. The MRI will look at soft and hard tissues and will give some indicator as to whether or not he has brain damage. It will also help them determine whether or not the can remove the neck brace. He is still on the ventilator but they have removed the tubes from his skull. My parents will meet with the doctors tomorrow morning. Hopefully this will give us more information as well as the results of the MRI. I'll let you all know as soon as we hear something else.

Dannelly Family,

There are not words to express what Nate and I are feeling for you. We can only pray that you are comforted by our Heavenly Father and that Kent gets feeling better fast. You are in our prayers. We know how stressful it is to have a child in the ICU so please let us know if there is anything we can do for anyone there or here. We appreciate all the love and support you have shown to our family and hope we can be the same for you.

Love, Nate, Heather, Taylor, Autumn, Kaydee and Madison

So, Kent, no matter where you're really from, we all know you've got that hard-core, tough-fightin', beef-steak Midwestern Nebraskan in ya. Your old (and young) friends in Omaha are pulling for you, and we'll keep you all in our prayers. Keep your head up (or down, if the docs tell you), and you'll get through this. Just keep being the stubborn punk that kept you riding your bike and you'll plow right through this!

Best,
Chris & Allison

If there is anything i have learned over the years it is that if Kent wants something he will get it. Kent will conquer this and tell of it with that signature chuckle and grin. I love you man! We all love you!

I just wanted to express my cares and concern for Kent and the family. Kent is in my prayers as well as my family's and a large number of my friends. Thank you for the updates and I was so happy to find out that he was responsive yesterday. I know Kent is a tough guy and he can push through this esp with God on his side. "I can do everything through Him who strenghens me" Phillipians 4:13.
"In all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
To Kents family, my prayers are for you as well. Gods blessings.
With Love, BreAnn

Kent and I have always joked that my mom loves Kent more than she loves me. When I first told my mom the news of his accident she started to cry, then imediatley called the rest of the Primary Presidency and made Kent's family dinner/dessert...(They made me sneak in your house and put it in your fridge. :) ).

To Kent and Kent's family, you are in our prayers, and have our complete support.

I love you Kent and hope for the best of recoveries.

Kent,
We hope you are well enough to read this in a week or so. We here at the office and especially the shop know the impact you made on those of us you work with. The friendly smile and dry wit not to mention the razzing you give as well as take is being missed by those of us here at Robinson Construction. We just want you to know that we a pulling for you. Don't be a stranger during your rehab. You are always welcome to to stop-by for a B.S. session.
