Surgery

Kent just went into surgery for his. It'll take about an hour and a half and his jaw will be wired shut. It should slow down the sarcastic Kent comments for a few days.

Mom made the nurses give him a haircut. The nurse thought it would only take one blade but my mom knew better. She said it took 6 blades to shave is crazy hair off. Apparently they still have more to shave after the surgery.

He had a good night last night other than some coughing. They had to suction his lungs. We'll let you know more as soon as he is out of surgery and we have an update.

We continue to pray for Kent and all of you, and we are so grateful to hear of each improvement. Please let those nurses and doctors know that there are many people who appreciate the excellent care they are giving Kent. I also want to say that it is apparent that Kent's great sense of humor, kindness, and resilient nature is genetic!

Hugs,

I pray the surgery went well. I only met Kent once on the job here in Caliente but I was very impressed. I hope Kent gets well soon and exceeds the medical diagnosis for recovery.

Dear Kent and Family,
You are all in our prayers and on our minds right now. The boys on our street who have been in primary with Kent have been fasting and praying for him. They also pray for everyone who is taking care of Kent. Thanks for the website as Kent has many people calling with love and concern for him. He is such a great example and friend.
We love you all-please let us know if there is anything we can do to help at this time.

Love The Lymans

We'll definitely miss the sarcastic Kent comments but we're glad the surgery went well. Your family is in our thoughts and we're praying for the best.
