Hangin in the hospital room.

Well, Kent is back in Salt Lake. They have him at LDS hospital in the Neuro Rehab. He had a really big day. They brought him in a small plane, Mom thinks it would hold about 10 people in normal seats. Once he got here they took out a bunch of tubes and he's getting a little bit more comfortable. The nurses and doctors go right to work on his rehab. He walked about 50 ft in the rehab room. He is also able to around his room and to his restroom with some assistance. They are giving him some Boost nutrition shakes to help him get enough calories that he can go off the feeding tube. The staff here is great and they are very helpful. Ben is staying the night with Kent tonight. This way he'll have a little extra help if he needs stuff. It'll also be good for him to have a familiar face when he wakes up in the night,

We're working on getting him settled in this weekend and then when he's ready they'll start letting him have visitors. Talking to my mom tonight it sounds like they will limit how many people can be in his room at a time (probably 3 or so) Because of this limitation we'll set up times when people can cycle in and out to keep him from being overwhelmed. It'll probably involve calling or emailing one of the family members to check before you come up. Give us a day or two and we'll let you know who to contact to set up a time to come up.

We are so happy to have him back in Salt Lake. Thank you so much for all of your love and concern. Kent seems to like it when we read him everyone's comments. Hopefully you can tell him yourself soon!

Kent and Family.
I just read your entire blog and it was so great to see how much your family cares about you. I am happy that you are back in Utah and recovering well. I know you are tough and as soon as your well enough you'll be right back out on your bike again. My prayers are with you and your family. I'll keep checking in on your condition.
